Husky Love, True Story:
When I was 17 years old, I worked at a Vet Clinic. One of the dogs I took care of was a Siberian Husky named Nikita. She was a beautiful dog, so gentle and sweet. Taking care of her was something I looked forward to. I thought to my teenage self, “One day, I’m gonna have a Siberian Husky of my own, and I’ll name her Nikita.” It took over 20 years, but then the opportunity came… I got a Siberian Husky, and I named her Nikita. She’s gentle, sweet, a dream come true.
Although dog kennels throughout Alaska are filled with Alaskan Huskies as the superior athletes, this Siberian is a great companion dog. It took a few decades, but Nikita is so worth it!
